Florida's Black History Month 2025 calendar is teeming with activities to discover if you intend to celebrate. Every week something unique is undergoing, and I have had the opportunity to view a couple on my own.
- Orlando: Orlando City Hall is where the Black History Month Art Exhibition runs from February 1st to March 30th. Believe me: you will not want to miss this. Attending the opening reception allowed me to submerge myself in African American culture via art, which I greatly enjoyed.
- Miami-Dade County: A not-to-miss event is the closing reception of the "Invisible Luggage" Exhibition at the Historic Hampton House on February 21st. The curator panel's debate made me seriously consider history.
- Gainesville: Visit the A. Quinn Jones museum for Black History Month programs. It is such a friendly environment, and it is an excellent place to study nearby Black history.
