This shining, sparkling personality sparkled through an intense two-and-a-half years of esophageal cancer. During a heartfelt interview earlier this year, she reflected on a journey of sheer optimism: "What I went through was pretty intense. You can't function; you can't function. And now I'm so grateful; I want to keep going; I want to help people."
Her co-star, Caryn Richman, who works with her in "The New Gidget," cited touchy recollections of Jacobson: "There was Jill's brilliant comic timing.
